Welcome to the Summer 2017 Contest contest.

Wild Noodle's Summer 2017 Herbert Contest consists of 25 levels, from very easy to very challenging. How far can you get?

This contest does not require registration. If you only want to see the challenges, and maybe experiment with a few solutions, there is no need to register or log in. Be aware that in this case any solutions you create will not be saved. However, if you want your solutions to be saved and submitted and your name included in the final ranking, you should register and log in before working on your submission.

The round ended on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at 23:59:59 GMT.

The Summer 2017 Contest Round is in the form of a game called Herbert. Herbert requires you to solve a number of levels by writing small programs to control a robot. The simpler and more elegant your solution, the more points you get. Herbert challenges your ability to see patterns and create algorithms to produce these patterns.

The easiest way to participate in the contest is to use the web/mobile version of Herbert at http://herbert.wildnoodle.com. Just sign in and choose the Summer 2017 Contest contest.

If you would prefer to run the original Windows executable version of Herbert, follow the steps below.
